Glad to announce that I organised and conducted an online business seminar for NAPA (Home – NAPA) concerning the practical issues involved in speed and consumption claims; potential solutions to minimise or avert claims by adopting a holistic approach: careful consideration of the whole process, from pre-contractual negotiations to dispute resolution.
Furthermore, strict compliance with the emissions regulations presents challenges for the parties that should consider potential performance warranty issues and shape their contracts in order to spread the risk appropriately.
I thank NAPA for the invitation to present these practical issues and the excellent questions raised during the presentation that reflect common problems found in practice and continue provoking disputes in the shipping industry.
